Non-scaler introduction case: Cooling tower
A case of preventing the adhesion of calcium scale that adheres to the outer cooling fins of a cooling tower.
The cooling water used in open cooling towers for central air conditioning increases the calcium concentration in the water to about 7 to 10 times that of the make-up water (source water) due to evaporation, resulting in the formation of hard calcium carbonate crystals on the surface of the cooling fins outside the cooling tower, which reduces cooling efficiency. The non-scaler, when installed in the make-up water piping, transforms dissolved calcium hydroxide in the water into calcium carbonate nanoparticles, dispersing them in the water and preventing calcium from solidifying and adhering to the cooling fins of the cooling tower. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
